Hello, I'm James Nimmo - known as Nemo. I'm an experienced photographer and videographer based in Oxfordshire. I have several years of television experience from working in the Northwest, across the UK and Europe. I established my business at the end of the Covid pandemic with the aim to work on a more local level with businesses, musicians, artists, and organisations.
I'm equipped with a variety of professional gear for independent content creation and offer a range of services, including event photography, aerial photo and video, highlights reels and business promos. I'm open to travel for projects across the UK and welcome enquiries and quotes via email. Let's bring your vision to life!
I began my TV career on "The Secret Life of the Zoo" for Channel 4, capturing notable animal births using a fixed-camera rig. Moving onto 999: What's Your Emergency? I assisted camera teams on location in Swindon, Wiltshire. I spent a lot of time freelancing for major UK broadcasters, including BBC, ITV, Channel 4, and Channel 5 on a mix of short and long term contracts. I also worked on various one-off projects, from a John Lennon documentary for a US Broadcaster to reality shows in France, Spain, Zante, and Italy. I then joined CBeebies on two shows with Justin Fletcher (Mr. Tumble) before the Covid Pandemic. Though post-Covid, I joined World of Wonder for 'Ru Paul's Drag Race UK vs. The World'. I then wrapped up my time in TV (and the north) with Channel 5, as tech and camera support to remotely film music clip shows featuring a variety of music journalists, musicians, artists and notable names in the music business.
